Entering through the elegant front door of Villa Asante you are presented with a pair of single-storey pavilions framing a 12m swimming pool that in turn overlook lawns, a small stream and the rice terraces beyond.  The pavilion to the left houses the dining (seating for 10) and kitchen facilities which lead off to the staff quarters.  The kitchen is stark white, as is much of the villa, but comes fully equipped with modern appliances including a barbecue.  A small bench bar with bar stools allows for casual dining or drinks.  The living pavilion is to the right of the pool, complete with Bose sound system, iPod player and 42-inch flat-screen TV with DVD player (the selection of DVDs is small so you might want to bring your own).  Both pavilions are open sided and fan cooled and feature terrazzo floors and vaulted ceilings.  They link seamlessly with the lawns and poolside decking creating a large indoor/outdoor space.  A small balé by the pool provides shade.

A third, two-storey pavilion houses the four bedrooms – two per floor.  Downstairs are a pair of king bedded rooms with walk-in wardrobes and expansive glassed-in bathrooms which include bathtubs and separate outside showers within private walled gardens.  Upstairs a king and a twin bedroom are each equipped with ensuite shower rooms. Wedged in between is a cosy TV room with 42-inch flat-screen satellite channel TV and DVD player.  The many built-in sofas in this room can sleep up to four children.  All the bedrooms and bathrooms are equipped with individually controlled air conditioning, DVD/CD players and flat-screen TVs with satellite channels.
