Umah Daun’s front door opens onto a light and airy leaf-shaped living room where gracefully curved ceilings, upholstered sofas piled with cushions, leather armchairs and antique furniture await.  A covered passageway links to a spacious open-plan kitchen and dining room, with immense wooden dining table seating 14.  The well-equipped guest kitchen features a glistening grey granite island counter with bar stools, and a walk-in temperature-controlled wine cellar.  Leather sofas and recliners furnish the adjacent media room, equipped with a 60-inch satellite TV/DVD player.  Further along is an atmospheric games room with dark turquoise walls, saloon-style high tables and swivel chairs, billiard table, fuseball and a wall-mounted TV.  The split-level kids playroom on the other side of the living room has a TV/DVD player and plethora of beanbags and board games. Adjacent is a shower room.

Gardens fringe the generous infinity pool (16m including a shallow area for kids) which is encased in timber decking complete with built-in jacuzzi and topped with loungers and parasols.  A 12-seater outdoor dining table and a daybed furnish the pool pavilion.

Five spacious bedrooms all feature air-conditioning, ceiling fans, built-in wardrobes and marble ensuite bathrooms with rain showers and freestanding tubs (except Gardenia suite).  Situated at either end of the ground floor are two bedrooms:  Jasmine is bright and sunny, with dark pink soft furnishings and a king-sized bed that can also be configured as twins.  Sliding doors open onto a small outdoor terrace.  Gardenia presents a king-size four-poster bed, easy chairs, a richly coloured wall hanging and glass doors opening onto the garden and hidden temple courtyard.

Upstairs, the palatial Jakaranda master suite has a king-sized antique wooden bed, turquoise soft furnishings, satellite TV and lovely views.  A passageway leads to walk-in dressing rooms and the ensuite bathroom.  Off the veranda, the study/library sports a cow-hide rug and leather reading chairs.

Also accessed from the veranda is a pair of adjoining kids bedrooms – Waterlily and Morning Glory – each decorated with bright, cheerful colour schemes.  A choice of king-size or twin bed configurations, make these rooms equally suitable for adults.  A large roof terrace just beyond these two bedrooms is furnished with a daybed and offers great sunset views.
