From Bayu Gita Residence’s entrance, a covered passageway leads to the villa’s open-plan kitchen and dining area. A galley kitchen with fridge, sink and hot plates faces a long breakfast counter with four bar stools, and a door leads through to an adjoining small service kitchen with oven and microwave. In the dining area, a wooden table is surrounded by eight latticed leather chairs, while a six-seater table lies on the patio just beyond, shaded by a vine-covered trellis. At the far end of the compact, centrally positioned lawn is the swimming pool bordered by four sun loungers and a gazebo housing the jacuzzi and a large daybed. All outdoor areas are privately screened by attractive sandstone walls and luxuriant tropical vegetation.
Stairs lead to a fan-cooled media/lounge room on the upper floor with tall sloping ceilings and garden views. Sofas are comfortably arranged around the large flat-screen satellite TV/DVD, while two planters chairs sit at the back of the room overlooking a bamboo grove.
The villa has three air-conditioned bedrooms each with a canopied bed dressed in crisp white sheets, customised amenities and an ensuite bathroom with rain shower. The bright and spacious master suite is on the upper floor, with glass doors revealing tantalising sea views and a fresh breeze, best enjoyed from a comfortable easy chair. The room’s king-sized bed is set on a raised wooden platform and an adjoining study is furnished with a long desk and shelves lined with books (this can also be used as a massage room). A walk-through dressing area leads to the large, bright grey and white themed bathroom.
Two bedrooms on the ground floor each have a partition wall fringed with foliage to create privacy. Both have queen-sized beds, stone floors and built-in timber shelving and wardrobes. One has burgundy drapes and bed furnishings, the other has a bronze theme and its own small leafy courtyard at the back. Both have semi-outdoor garden bathrooms.
